At the intersection of politics, health and environmentalism is a story I reported on Columbia's outgoing mayor, known for his support of pedestrian-based transportation. It's one of my favorite things I've produced for public radio. I ended up at KBIA largely by chance - I could have been assigned to any one of three newsrooms - but good reporting translates to any medium. In addition to covering spot news and features, I now anchor in the afternoons and produce the weekly science, health and technology segment. You can also download a copy of my resume tape.
